About

Padlefestivalen is a small and friendly gathering every late May.

Inspired and supported by Anglesey Sea Kayaking Symposium by Nigel Dennis more than 15 years ago; we urge to have the same welcoming and inclusive approach towards local and over seas visitors.

How to get here?

There are direct and connecting flights from most cities around Europe. On the day of arrival we'll find someone to pick you up from the airport or Bergen town. Langøy (The Long Island) is a 30 minutes drive from Bergen. We will help and support in any way possible.

What's it about?

It's like most festivals really; any level daily trips, work shops, British Canoeing courses up to SKL Tidal and Coastal Navigation, as well as Norewegian Assosiation courses.

What does it cost?

How about kayak and kit?

We have kayaks and kit for you to rent. If required, that would include tent and sleeping mattress as well. Padlefestivalen is a tent based festival, there are however some options for accommodations in the area.

Please send a mail if you have any questions!

Kind regards,

Ronny Riise

The Festivalpass (ticket) is 800,- NOK, approx 60 GBP, that include trips and a spot for you tent. Courses have additional fees, please contact me for more information.
